Like for like, the asking prices of used cars newly listed in Saudi Arabia in September 2026 were 0.4% lower than in August 2026 (90% range: 0.9% lower to 0.1% higher), according to the GCC Car Deals Used-Car Price Index (99.8; July 2026 = 100). Without the adjustment for a month of ageing, asking prices for the same model years were 1.1% lower. The range includes zero, so the month is best read as little changed.
Toyota leads supply by a clear margin with about 10,375 listings (18.4% of active listings), ahead of Hyundai at roughly 6,368. Most listings are SUVs, about 40.1% of the market, then sedans.
When the same car appears on more than one marketplace, Haraj posted the lowest price in 65.5% of the 2,013 cars it competed on, ahead of Dubizzle Saudi (37.5%) — so cross-checking a few sources before you buy still pays.

Methodology
From our own historical price panel: we snapshot the median price and listing count for each model-year cohort daily across several Saudi Arabia marketplaces, which gives the supply, brand, body-type and marketplace figures in this report. The price movement is the GCC Car Deals Used-Car Price Index instead: it compares the asking prices of used cars newly listed in each month like for like (same marketplace, make, model, model year and trim family), adjusted for mileage and a month of ageing, with July 2026 = 100. Every figure comes from our aggregated listings; the index is a statistical estimate and is published with its 90% range. As of 7 October 2026.
