UAE Used-Car Market Report — August 2026
Like for like, asking prices of newly listed used cars in the UAE were 0.1% higher in August than in July (GCC Car Deals Used-Car Price Index) — plus supply, what's selling and where the cheapest prices are.

Like for like, the asking prices of used cars newly listed in the UAE in August 2026 were 0.1% higher than in July 2026 (90% range: 0.2% lower to 0.5% higher), according to the GCC Car Deals Used-Car Price Index (100.1; July 2026 = 100). Without the adjustment for a month of ageing, asking prices for the same model years were 0.7% lower. The range includes zero, so the month is best read as little changed.
Toyota leads supply by a clear margin with about 14,367 listings (18.2% of active listings), ahead of Mercedes-Benz at roughly 7,616. Most listings are SUVs, about 45.6% of the market, then sedans.
When the same car appears on more than one marketplace, Dubizzle posted the lowest price in 63.6% of the 4,736 cars it competed on, ahead of DubiCars (42.4%) — so cross-checking a few sources before you buy still pays.
Zooming in on the last few days, BMW 2 Series firmed up while Alfa Romeo Stelvio softened the most — the movers tables below have the full picture.

Methodology
From our own historical price panel: we snapshot the median price and listing count for each model-year cohort daily across several UAE marketplaces, which gives the supply, brand, body-type, marketplace and recent-mover figures in this report. The price movement is the GCC Car Deals Used-Car Price Index instead: it compares the asking prices of used cars newly listed in each month like for like (same marketplace, make, model, model year and trim family), adjusted for mileage and a month of ageing, with July 2026 = 100. Every figure comes from our aggregated listings; the index is a statistical estimate and is published with its 90% range. As of 26 August 2026.
