Median asking prices across matched cohorts in the UAE held flat 0.1% between 5 October 2026 and 12 October 2026, measured on 4,948 cohorts — the same model, year and trim, across all live ads, compared between two readings. That is in step with the 30-day read (−1.3% across 4,339 cohorts).

In the seven days to 12 October 2026, 7,689 new listings appeared while 6,804 cars were confirmed or likely sold: roughly as many cars left as arrived, so the market is in balance. The live catalogue stands at 90,763 active listings. On the last 90 days, the typical car takes about 30 days to sell (an estimate from observed removals, not confirmed sales).

Chevrolet (+0.5%), Land Rover (+0.3%), Mitsubishi (+0.2%) firmed, while Audi (−1.0%), Hyundai (−0.8%), Toyota (−0.3%) softened — moves among the largest makes are measured on matched cohorts only, so a make with fewer than ten is never quoted.

The biggest cut in the seven days to 12 October 2026: Infiniti EX35 Luxury 2008, from AED 10,000 to AED 6,000 (−40.0%) against a typical AED 7,500 for its cohort. The table below lists the 5 largest drops observed over seven days.

The best-selling models over the last 30 days: Toyota Land Cruiser (1,170), Toyota Hilux (893), Toyota Prado (627) — sales are observed removals classed as confirmed or likely sold, not dealer-reported figures.

This weekly figure is the median asking price of matched cohorts across all live ads and moves with which cars and marketplaces are listed; for the direction of prices, read the monthly GCC Car Deals Used-Car Price Index, which compares like for like. See the Price Index

How these numbers are made

This note is published automatically every week from the listings we collect: the weekly price change compares the median asking price of each matched cohort (same model, year and trim) across all live ads between two readings, which is a different measure from the monthly GCC Car Deals Used-Car Price Index; sales are observed removals classed as confirmed or likely sold; cuts are changes to a listing's own asking price. A week without enough data is not published. A note's figures are never edited after it goes out; if its wording has to be corrected, the correction is shown on the note itself.
