Qatar Used-Car Market Report — August 2026
Like for like, asking prices of newly listed used cars in Qatar were 0.7% higher in August than in July (GCC Car Deals Used-Car Price Index) — plus supply, what's selling and where the cheapest prices are.

Like for like, the asking prices of used cars newly listed in Qatar in August 2026 were 0.7% higher than in July 2026 (90% range: 0.1% to 1.3% higher), according to the GCC Car Deals Used-Car Price Index (100.7; July 2026 = 100). Without the adjustment for a month of ageing, asking prices for the same model years were unchanged. The whole range sits above zero, so prices did move up.
Toyota leads supply by a clear margin with about 7,644 listings (22.8% of active listings), ahead of Nissan at roughly 3,225. Most listings are SUVs, about 47.2% of the market, then sedans.
When the same car appears on more than one marketplace, MzadQatar posted the lowest price in 56.5% of the 2,078 cars it competed on, ahead of QatarSale (52.1%) — so cross-checking a few sources before you buy still pays.
Zooming in on the last few days, Renault Duster firmed up while Chevrolet Groove softened the most — the movers tables below have the full picture.

The price movement is the GCC Car Deals Used-Car Price Index instead: it compares the asking prices of used cars newly listed in each month like for like (same marketplace, make, model, model year and trim family), adjusted for mileage and a month of ageing, with July 2026 = 100. Every figure comes from our aggregated listings; the index is a statistical estimate and is published with its 90% range. As of 26 August 2026.
